This project investigates how control in the era of digital platforms is expressed through invisible shaping of human behaviour, embodying progression from the Foucault’s biopolitical disciplining of the body to the remote programming of the mind. It is a two-part investigation into surveillance infrastructure present in Xinjiang, China and spaces governed by Transport for London, that as a conclusion offers a risk assessment that would allow people to act differently in relation to their privacy.
